Firm Under Eye Area – Facial Exercises for Eyes

Most women notice loose and sagging under eye skin as soon as they hit their early thirties. There are many reasons behind this. One of the major ones is stress. Other causes include sun exposure, lack of moisture, excess hours in front of computer, lack of nutrition and general ageing process.

Loose under eye skin is not a great thing to keep. They look really bad when you smile. The wrinkles get gathered and make you look older. So what to do? Here are some fabulous exercises to help you lift and firm up the under eye area:

Exercises to Lift and Firm the Eye Area

Crow’s feet and loose under eye skin is something all of us are scared of. Practicing routine eye exercises will minimize crow’s feet. It will also reduce fine lines that appear around the eyes. Conducting eye exercises regularly will also reduce eyelid sagging and the fine lines between the eyes.

Exercise 1

Step 1: Press two fingers on each side of your head (at the temples).

Step 2: With your fingers still gently pressing, start opening and closing your eyes rapidly.

Step 3: Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Exercise 2

Step 1: Sit up straight with your eyes closed and relaxed.

Step 2: Keeping your eyes closed, look down and then look up as far as possible.

Step 3: Repeat the exercise 10 times.

Exercise 3

Step 1: Sit up straight with your eyes open and relaxed.

Step 2: Lift your eyebrows while also closing your top eyelids until they are halfway closed.

Step 3: Open your eyelids wide until the white of your eye shows over your iris.

Step 4: Repeat 5 times.

Exercise 4

Step 1: Sit up straight.

Step 2: Look forward with your eyes open.

Step 3: Look up then down, while keeping your head still.

Step 4: Repeat 10 times.

Exercise 5

Step 1: Sit up straight.

Step 2: Look forward with your eyes open.

Step 3: Look left then right, while keeping your head still.

Step 4: Repeat this 10 times.

Exercise 5

Step 1: Sit up straight with your eyes closed and relaxed.

Step 2: Keep your eyes closed while lifting your eyebrows and stretching your eyelids down as far as possible.

Step 3: Hold this position for 5 counts.

Step 4: Relax and repeat 5 times.
