Here are some diet and nutrition tips to follow after caesarean section:

Protein

You need to focus on taking a lot of protein after C- section delivery to help repair tissue and promote healing. So make sure you get adequate intake of protein in your diet. So include good amount of chicken, fish, nuts, lean red meat, seeds and legumes in your diet. Make sure you consume at least 5-6 ounces of protein in a day.

The Healthy Diet

It also plays a vital role in enhancing the immune system. Food sources of iron include red poultry, meat, eggs, fish and legumes.
