Many women tend to suffer from constipation soon after the surgery. To fight this problem, you need to fight this condition, focus on drinking at least 8 to 10 glasses of water in a day to stay hydrated and prevent constipation. You should include a lot of water, juice and milk in your diet.
Since caesarean section delivery leads to some amount of blood loss, it is important to take good amount of iron that helps restoring the blood via promoting haemoglobin production. It also plays a vital role in enhancing the immune system. Food sources of iron include red poultry, meat, eggs, fish and legumes.
