Don’ts of Weight Loss Program—What You Absolutely Must NOT Do!
No mater whether you are a busy professional or mom-at-home, ever body wishes to look great and feel healthy. People these days, especially high-profile executives and women seem to participate in the mad race about looking better than others. To achieve perfect body and shape they spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars on different health programs, weight loss programs and even pills.
A perfect weight-loss program may contain various tricks and techniques, also it may include hundreds of words in terms of instructions but the four key words are: “Eat less–Exercise more”.
Of course, if it were really that simple, you would not be here and I wouldn’t have to write so much to describe the things. Ironically, it’s a lot more complicated than that and sometime time consuming too. Some people need to eat more to lose weight. And some who are already exercising need to do less, but at a higher intensity. Losing weight can be a frustrating, time taking and anxiety-inducing process, but it doesn’t have to be. Below given are few important points, in the form of “Don’ts Of Weight Loss Program”, what you absolutely must not do!
Lack of Patience and Giving Up Too Early:
Most people lack in patience and they usually fall off the band wagon of exercise program too early. It is, however, quite natural to give up on exercise program or schedule after weeks due to some personal or professional reasons, but as far as possible you should stick to your exercise schedule completely. When on diet program, it is also natural to have a strong urge after some time to ditch your program, but renewing your commitment after a boo-boo is the most important thing you should do to be successful.
Expecting overnight magic/wonders:
As a general phenomenon when you are on some diet program or exercise program you expect too much from it. But when you find yourself nowhere near your desired goal or pre-specified results (often wonders and magic) then you immediately would feel frustrated and dejected. Research show that approx. 20% people loose interest in this initial phase when your body hasn’t adopted everything as desired. Spending too much time scale watching and not concentrating properly on the program might lead to frustration and a maddening desire to quit program forever. This is a big no, as you should be realistic on your expectations.
Not Feeling Energetic and Alert:
If you don’t feel confident, energetic and alert on any exercise program you follow chances are you won’t succeed to reap the desired benefits. Be positive, feel confident, and pay attention to how you feel while you’re working out. Whenever on any particular diet program or exercise program, you should feel energetic and alert, because a perfect blend of participation, involvement and commitment is the key to success! In addition to that you should also make sure that you sleep and wake up on time, so that your body feels stronger and you’re less stressed. The benefits of exercise go way beyond weight loss and appearance. Just to feel those situations and to get all the benefits you definitely have to put your best efforts.
Unfortunately there is no short cut in this case. Be patient! It can take time to change things. Those who get the results are persistent and consistent, yet willing to have it be easy, fast, and magical because that happens as well.
